Christianity , Judaism and Islam all believe in the God of Abraham. Of course Christians believe Jesus to be the Son of God and the Messiahh. Judaism is still a waiting a Messia. In Islam Mohamed was spoken to by an Angel sent by God,
Hinduism has 9 deities and is more passive than the three majors.
Buddhism is an off shot of Hinduism. It is specifically a philosospy of renouncing desires and materialism and embracing the spiritualism. Buddhists are Pacifists, truly.
If we were all Buddists, Amish or Quakers the world would be a better place. The God of Abraham seems to be a angry vengeful type.

Actually yes, some religions are quite related. An example would be Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, as they are all related. Same thing with Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism.
