Right, so for the past month or so I've been getting really dizzy whenever I stand or move quickly from on position to the other. At first I thought it was dehydration and started drinking lots of water. Now that so much time has passed and so much water has been consumed, I don't think it's dehydration. Answers please!?

I can think of two reasons right off hand. First, high blood pressure will do this. Second, inner ear problems. You really need to go see a doctor and get it taken care of before it becomes any worse.

Dizziness can be caused by a deficiency in your diet, such as low iron. It can also be caused by blood pressure problems and/or an inner ear infection. You need to make a doctors appointment in order to be sure, but something is definitely wrong. You can get lightheaded and dizzy from being dehydrated, so it was smart of you to up your water intake. This problem has gone on too long and you need some medical intervention. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!

You might have postural hypotension, it means you have low blood pressure, so when you stand up, you get dizzy because the blood pressure has to compensation mechanism hasnt kicked in fast enough. It's not a big deal, and having low blood pressure means youll live longer because youll have less heart problems.

Also you could have a defincieny of some sorts, like iron, B12 or folic acid. I would definitely go get a physical done and make sure you tell your doctor about your symptoms.

There are a lot of conditions causing dizziness. They way you described it, it might be Benign Positional Vertigo, meaning you might feel dizzy when you change your position.
Other causes, might be iron deficiency anemia, error of refraction wherein your vision should be checked at least once a year or more often as the case calls for.
Other causes of dizziness are lack of sleep or even high or low sugar!
It is important that you consult your doctor as soon as possible. Consult first a family physician.

Dizziness when you stand up is sometimes caused by low blood pressure, but I'm not sure how you remedy that, besides going to a doctor.

Don't know your age but I would get my blood pressure checked and blood sugar as well. You really need a good physical from a GP or MD. You could go to your local Health Dept. if you can't afford it. They usually charge by sliding fee based on income. Please do it, there are too many things that could be simple or complicated. You could be hypoglycemic. Not eating often enough and blood sugar is falling, in that case you eat small healthy meals and snacks throughout the day. Go see the Doc. Good luck.

Have you ever been in a car accident or some type of fall?
I know when it happened to me it was because of that. Also please do get a CBC lab done, you maybe anemic, thyroid issues, and some type of equilibrium imbalance. Yes do check your blood pressure from the fire department or doctor to see your results. Try to sit up slowly when getting out of bed and give yourself and few minutes when sitting up to dangle your feet then move. Don't forget to go see an doctor to make sure. Good luck.

well every once in a while i get a little dizzy, but thats not a constant thing. i would suggest going to see your doctor. you never know it could be something really serious or it could be nothing at all. you could just be really tired and need to get more sleep. try just to go and see a doctor.

Blood Pressure should be checked.
Also, may be side effect from something new you may have started taking recently like a RX prescription.
