After the whole school shooting incident, i've felt so bad for the Amish. I mean those people don't hurt anyone and some stupid sick bastard comes in and shoots their children and they forgive him. They are so sweet.

The Amish simply try to practice what they preach. I hope everybody notices how impressive that is.

Don't get me wrong, it is messed up what happened. And I commend the Amish for their ability to press on and not hold a grudge.
However, anyone that says the Amish "practice what they preach" has obviously not been around any actual Amish people.
My favorite thing isd the use of cars. They won't use automobiles because it is material, and evil, yaddah yaddah,
but if it's a hot day they will gladly accept a ride from you.
So, it's wrong for them to go to hell by operating a car, but as long as I'm already going there, I can drop them off on the way? Pretty hypocritical.

They aren't sweet...they're obedient. Jesus commanded us to forgive as we have been forgiven, and the Amish are simply obeying the will of God.
Jesus has already paid the penalty for all of the horrible things that we've done in the past, in the present and in the future. All we have to do is believe.

I agree, more than any other religion or denomonation of Christianity the Amish practice what they preach.

They are the epitome of what 'grace under pressure' should be.

how the grandfather of the one girl killed said he forgived the man who did it and his family..only days after.
