Should I be worried Muslims live in my area?

The United States Government says they are decent people so I would say I'm in good hands.

I've met a lot of Muslims and not one of them is violent. I think the Press just magnifies the problem to make it appear that the Muslim extremists are the majority of their religion.

Most Muslims are very peaceful! So you are pretty safe.

However, just like any race, if you treat them poorly they may not be very friendly.

I don't know, you haven't given enough info. Are there more muslims in your area. Muslims like to live in area's where there are other muslims and atleast a church they can go too. Muslim's are verry religious. But don't be worried if they seem to religious it is just there culture. Not all muslims are extreamist. Is this a small town. If there is a muslim church, how far away is it? The best way too know is to try to get to know them. Most muslims that move to the states are very educated, a lot of them are doctors and college profesors. If you know they are one of these you probably won't have anything to worry about. If they don't fit any of these standards then it does make this a question. The best way too find out is try to get to know them. Muslims are kind of shy a lot of times. They are afraid of persecution due to their religion. To make a good impression on them try to cook something like a old fashon apple pie. That is just a suggestion though. Look on the internet and find some of their favorite dishes and fix one for them. Don't be worried about stepping into a terrorist strong hold either. They aren't going to try and draw any attention to them selfes so they probably won't even let you let you in if they are terrorist's. Even if they don't let you in don't get too worried just keep your eyes peeled. Terrorist like to be looked at as normal people. They just try and fit in so they can rake havoc later but they usualy aren't that good at fitting in. One last thing don't hate them just because they are different they may be just trying to make a good life for their family and theirselfes so just be cautios but not prejudice.

Now, if the people you see wear a checkered keyyef and brandish AK-47s, RPGs and have C4 strapped to their bodies...those are NOT Muslims. Those are terrorist extremists and by all means you should report them to the local authorities, the FBI, and Homeland Security.

No i dont think so cause think about if if they try to do something they wont do anything small they will do it big in a big city, no on some person, i dont know much about muslim but what i do know scares me, like for example they are not allowed to date people only married and if they date and family knows they are allowed to kill u, weird stuff.
