well I think u 1st see the can,so u use the visual pathway..starting with the light receptors in the retina...then the optic nerve then the chiasma then the optic tract...relay in the geniculate body...........last stop is the occepital lobe...(but this is involved if u want to store the image

Actually, you will probably use the entire CNS. If you test drive the car, you will be using your feet, legs, hands, arms, eyes, etc. You should use your brain to make sure you can afford the car. You'll probably also notice things like its smell by using your nose, its noise conditioning by using your ears, etc. That's essentially the entire CNS right there.

Evidently the manufacturers of SUVs are counting on you using your reptilian brain (primarily the cerebellum) which tells us that being big and high is safest (not true in the case of cars!)

lol i agree with john william...but the CNS part that specifically does the thinking/reasoning/logic is the cerebral cortex frontal lobe
