I got mine pierced and it hurt, but wasn't terrible. It felt like a sharp pinch, and then a little pull as they slid the hoop through. Just remember that the pain is only temporary and you won't even remember the pain weeks and months later when you have your cute little piercing. Just so you know, the traigus piercings normally don't heal for a good 6 months. It may swell alot or be enlarged for awhile which is a sign of infection but most piercings get infected like this. Just keep it washed and cleaned every single day and avoid changing it for up to 8 months or at least several months after it has completely healed with no flare ups of swelling.

hehe i was thinking about getting that pierced a few days ago my i got my cartlege pierced n both sides instead. people say that if its pierced wrong than that side of you face can be paralyzed! BUT i read into things and its just an urban legend and there are no nerves in that area but people describe it "as a punch in the head!" no thank you i said! lol an djust got my cartilege piercings on thursday which still hurt alot!. jst think if you get that doen your always going to hit up against it when you go to scrath your ear or something. have you ever had your cartilege ierced before? well it hurts ALOT and will hurt for a while. the healing time is also alot more lenghtier than an normal ear lobe piering. up to 4 months for it to heal completely. wel if you are really that daring then go for. my friend went with another forend to get it pierced and when the needlewen through her ear my friend heard a POP! lol i really dont mean to scare you but i would think that it is the most painful piercing. and just letting you know what to expect and think about .....
good luck!

well doll, when i got mine pierced which was anout 1 1/2 years ago, the process itself didnt hurt, but the after healing was kind of painful.
when you will first get it pierced it was only feel lyke a pinch, but after words for lyke 10 minutes it might burn/ itch/hurt. Mine only stung though!.
be very careful; when sleeping at night. try not to lay directly on it.
if you get it pierced with a 16 gauge stud lyke i, then i suggest changing it to a ring asap. thats what I did and it was healed in lyke 2 weeks!. well i wish you lotsa luck. and remember dont be scared!

Don't be scared...I was too, before I got mine done. It didn't hurt at all, and it's not really sore afterwards either...it was my easiest piercing, along with my upper cartilage.

it hurts, cant tell you anything different, sorry. getting my toungue pierced hurt a lot less, but different people have different reactions. getting my upper cartilage pierced also hurt a lot for me as well.

it is a really sensitive part and hurts pretty bad. But if you can do other piercings... that hurts less than getting your nipple pierced.
