That's cute! Maybe you are over-reacting a little bit - try to figure out what the real problem is. Could it be that you feel uncomfortable making out in his bedroom at all, and the sheets are just an excuse? Are you feeling slightly uncomfortable about his age, and deep down worrying that maybe he is not old enough to make out with?
If it really is just the sheets, then buy him some new bedding. Problem solved.

I think you are overreacting. I think it could be a bit immature but that is fine for a boy. Maybe he likes bright red and all boys like planes and cars so that is fine.
But maybe it is a problem for you and so you tell him that you don't like it. One of you have to give way because you can't argue about furniture and bedsheets.
If you think you are more mature than him than you should adjust and give way.

ok soemtimes guys just dont even bother changing their room.
i mean..its either he's still into that kind of thing..
but then he could also just be whatever with it..maybe he just doesnt feel like taking the airplane furniture or his red bright sheets, he's jsut being lazy with it.
maybe you should just ask him why he has those things with him, but you dont have to be embarres about it..and dont make him feel like he should be embarress cuz its jsut a room. if he's jsut being lazy about it just offer a help to look around for new sheets or what not.

First off if he lives at home it may be that mom is responsible for the decor in his room, also sounds as though you are overreacting, ignore the bedding, he seems to be able to and he has to look at it everyday. Look at the good side you know what to get him for the holidays new bedding.

Yes.
your teenagers, just cause he has red sheets dosnt mean he is immature. I have blue sheets. And what?
Maybe he likes airplanes. Why cant he like airplanes. You cant suck his hobbies away from him if thats what he likes. I bet you own stuffed animals and all that stuff. Why cant he like airplanes. More power to him.

No..I can see why that would be a little weird! I agree with you on that. But, guys don't see bedrooms the way we see them. To them, literally, it is a room with a bed and it's decorated the way mom wants (or later, the wife). Girls tend to personalize every space we inhabit, so we see it differently. He truly doesn't understand, so cut him a little slack.

I hate to break it to you but it does sound like you are over-reacting a bit. He is a year younger than you, so you can't expect to see the coolest room in the world.

haha, that is pretty cute.... but I completely understand you being uncomforable though. Drop hints maybe. Don't hurt his feelings. He probably doesn't like the little airplanes and stuff, they're just left over from being a little kid.

So what? He likes having those things around. I seen grown men with sheets like that. If you really loved him, you wouldn't judge him for what he has in his room.
