hello everybody. i can't seem to relax. all i seem to think about is how tense i feel. and i worry.

what is the best way to just get back in my relaxed state of mind, to feel calm, and happy?

Relaxation is all in the mind. You need to let your mind unwind. You're focusing too much energy on too many things. Let some things slip away and narrow your focus to the more important things.

you may have mild anxiety. i have for years, and all i can say is it takes time! the things that have worked for me are:
1. medication. i needed a little extra help, and it seriously saved my life. but they are not a cure all; you need to work with it.
2. therapy. finding out what was bothering me and making me feel so nervous and uncomfortable. and that took YEARS!
3. the best advice i ever got was not to dwell in the past or the future, but just to focus on the present. take what you need from the past and future and use it to focus on the present with all your energy.
4. and lastly, eat right. i would say exercise, but i can't get myself to do it, so i'm sure it could help, but it's not for me. i can say that when i am eating right and sleeping a healthy amount of time, i feel LOADS better mentally.

In today's society girls have a different definition of weight. Marilyn Monroe would be fat on today's standards. Just be you. Stop counting calories and be happy!

If it was easy enough to answer in a "bulleting board" I think everyone would be a lot saner.

Try and be more active if you can. Try jogging or running daily.

Other than that, see a DR or a licensed therapist.

do some running, exercise, get yourself busy, have a warm bath, talk to friends, go out, and Don't Worry ( in every difficulty, there is always a solution)

work out, there is nothing u can do about it at that moment so do somthing 2 get it off your mind. I am always thinking of my mom who passed away in july and i want 2 cry and get depressed so i work out and i do beadwork it seems 2 help me alot. and eating chocolate!!!
