My dodge ram needs new upper and maybe lower ball joints on both sides. Is it possible for me to change them myself?

I had an 01 that needed upper and lower on both sides. I took it to my mechanic, and he did it in 6 hours. Some shops will tell you 10 hours or more, but that is a joke. Its a big job!

first make sure transmission is full of fluid. second is the check engine light on if so might be a problem with either the governor solenoid or sensor. third just above the linkage on the transmission a kick down cable if stuck or sticking will give you the problem its spring loaded. WD40 the heck out of it make sure it works properly then road test again. still a problem find shop at ATRA.COM for road test

if you know what your doing and have the correct tools and equipment it books for 2 hours per side....if you don't ...don't try....you'll end up making things worse and it will cost you more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
