Maybe, but maybe not. It really depends on what you get, and how you feel about it. It's your body, so you really shouldn't worry that much about what other people think. Just because it's an anklet doesn't mean it's girly.
For example, if you wanted a rose chain, then I would say that's a feminine tat. If you wanted a dragon wrapped around your ankle, I would say that's not girlish at all.

Anklets are generally considered femenine, but also depends on what you want. I suggest a leg piece rather than one, because anklets and armbands lack that certain appeal. You could get something more impressive than just a band around your leg or arm. It's all up to YOU, though.

Ankle tattoos are alot like ankle bracelets, only with pain. How many guys do you see running around with ankle bracelets, or rather anklet tattoos?

I dont think any place it too girlish or guyish. Its more the image than the location. Do what you like and do what you want. Don't listen to other people. Its your body, not theirs.

depends on what it is. a tattoo on the back could be too girlish for a guy for if it is a snake. then no.
