That is the beauty of Hinduism and Buddism. To benefit from their philosophies...they never ask you to convert first.

Even if you are a non-hindu or non-buddhists...you can practice Yoga and their meditation technieques...and get enlighted in this life..

anyone can achieve enlightenment if they follow the middle path. you do not have to be buddhist to follow this path.

they dont ask that you officially join them , to practise their way of life

As for me, it's called recieving Jesus Christ as Lord and knowing that your faith in Him is all you need for your salvation.
