I think they are very cute... when the girls have a cute tummy. At my age, and after having 4 babies, the last of whom were twins... my tummy skin is too stretched out and there's no way I'd put it on display.
But my daughter has a cute figure, and I actually took her to have her navel pierced when she was 17. She had been talking about it for such a long time, and she is now 22 and it still looks cute.
Tacky... only if it shows before it's healed (that's just gross, don't let anybody see it until the redness has gone away).... or if it is on a big or old stretched tummy.... or if the person is using it as an excuse to dress like a prostitute. No need for that.

depends on the girl and the ring. i know some girls who look super cute with one, but then there's the other side of the spectrum, and the girls just look cheap and tacky.

i have one i love it. i never show it off though its one of those things that you can have that noone else knows about =) it hurts but i think its worth it. i think it looks tacky witht he dangly belly rings though. i have a vurved barbell with a clear gemstone on the end of it. =p

Very tacky!!!! I think it looks slutty...It hurts terribly, from what girls tell me...and when you have a baby you have to take it out.

if the girl has the body to have one its good, but if if they dont have any kind of figure its tacky lookin.

I think its cute if they dont try to be to "showy" with it, and as long if they are gonna show it off they have the body for it

if its all big and bulky (the belly ring): tacky
other than that i think they are really cute.
