Either one. If you have a lot to do, buy a scanner. I like my Epson Stylus Photo RX620, which is available at something like $150 from http://www.epson.com now. They have "better" and more expensive versions now, but this is a great flatbed scanner and printer.

With Picasa you are able to edit and modify all the images, it's easy to use and works like a charm

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.

It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.

It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google

if you scan it it is digital picture and yes at that time if you know how to resize the picture you can.
