Here is a list of online poker sites that permit US players. The list is updated daily, so check back often. http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/s.php?SRC=YahooAnswers&t=Poker&as_usa=1

When you start talking about underground poker sites you have to know who you are dealing with. Because you are more likely to be ripped off or even cheated by these kind of sites. Stick to regular casinos and reputable sites to play on. You can also go to www.homepokergame.com and look up home games in you area to play in, but also be aware of who you are dealing with in this area as well, most are on the up and up but some are cheaters. good luck..

Sort of. There are a ton of poker sites you Americans can play on. http://www.ultimatepokerbankroll.com/article.php/internet-gambling-ban-poker-sites-status has a list of which sites allow US Players and there are a bunch of popular sites that still do allow Americans.

So there's no need to play on shady sites when you can still play on a site like FTP http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/?aff=3425&code=?=0&ext=

I've done a full article reviewing the details of the so-called "Internet Gambling Ban". The page includes a link to all sites allowing American players.

They never pay out so don't even bother using them unless you like being cheated and ripped off.
