husbands are like that, they don't understand. I sing, to mine, and talk to them like a person, hell they listen better then him. lol I was at the ice cream shop the other day, and two guys were laughing at me because I bought my dogs a bowl of ice cream and was feeding them in my car with a spoon. So if you lost it so have I. I doubt we are alone.

I think it's awesome that you do that. I rock my beagle, Max in a rocking chair at night time. He loves it & he gets so sleepy. I also think you may be harboring feelings that you want a baby. Nothing wrong with that, but maybe something to think about.....

So long as you know the dog doesn't actually NEED you to do this, that you're just doing something you feel like doing, there's no harm in you singing to him/her if you enjoy it. The attention will be appreciated at least, and if you combine it with a chest scratch it would be appreciated even more!

The same thing works with my 3 year old son!! I am sure your pet appreciates the attention. What happens when you miss a night though???????

What's wrong with that? It's not destructive nor bad for the dog in any way and it makes you feel better.
Keep doing it and tell your hubby to chill out and find something REAL to complain about.

Maybe your husband's a little jealous.
Why not sing him some stuff too to send him off to dreamland?

You're just dog crazy...and that's okay, so am I...I talk and sing to my puppies all the time, and I swear, if they could talk, we would have awesome conversations!

well i don't think that i do the same but with my little bunnies and it works. i think if your dog likes it and then you stop singing you might see that there will be something different with him/her. hoped this helped:)
