Sorry about that...
I'm just really confused about it. If the New Testament is the Bible... and I hear about all these people, mark, luke etc., where does Jesus come into place, and who are those other guys?

here's that answer. New Testament is a sequel, same director and producer and this time He even has a starring role. Supporting women are Mary, and Mary and oh yeah Mary, and some other lessor knowns like Merriam. The NEW does not have as much blood shed, and is for the most part a love story. Only one short chase scene. Special effects are not as cataclysmic but there is a great one but I don't want to spoil it for you, coming to a book shelf near you, admission is free except the payment of an intangible part of your life force but don't worry it will be in even better hands than Allstate.

"New Testament" means "the New Covenant" and refers to the books of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), a book detailing the early church (Acts) a collection of "epistles" or letters written to churches in the early days of Christianity (Romans through Jude) , and Revelation, which is a book of prophecy.
In Luke 22:20 Jesus says," This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you." The "old" covenant is the covenant that God made with Israel. The new covenant is for all nations, not just the Israelites. The old covenant involved following the Law, which no one could do perfectly. The new covenant is a covenant of grace--salvation not through works, but through the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

what about it? Is it about how after the gospels it is about life after Jesus, or what? Or how it is about the fulfillment of the Old testament, everything that was prophecized and came true except the coming of Christ which is going to happen, very soon?

Is the true word of God. The story of Jesus and how he died for the sins of the world. How that salvation is a free gift.
