I think I know where you are coming from. It's not about race, but culturely African Americans tend to be more spiritual then white people. I am white and the only white person at my church. I'm not trying to be blck, it's just that I have never found a love for God or a freedom to praise and worship Him in spirit and truth like I have here. Most of the 'white' churches I go to are dull, boring and spiritually dead. But this is from a holiness prespective, I don't do well with religions and denominations. It's about Christ and the liberty He has given. I could go on, let me stop before I start preaching.

Any church that appears to represent a certain race is purely coincidence because of its location. Their doctrine will be the same as the rest of their denomination, chapter, synod, etc. The main difference between churches are its ministers and its congregational members.
The Roman catholic church has a very strict and well defined liturgy and ritual for ordination. This maintains a common consistency among the Church. The variances are usually national within the Catholic church, such as Irish Catholics and Mexican Catholics because of their ancestral beliefs.
I am a Lutheran of the Missouri Synod, but I have been to many different churches. In terms of race the only major difference I have seen is between ministers/pastors/reverends. Some black pastors seem to have a form of speaking that is genuinely different from those that are white; of course, this only an American perspective.

It has to be basically the same as a white Catholic Church as the word Catholic means universal. The faith and the Mass is the same wherever you go. This is what makes it so great. If you went to a Mass in Germany and didn't speak a word of German, you would still know what was going on and what was being said.

the shurch i goto has a mix of both but we have another one in the area in a more "black" section of town. it's not a racial think it's just where there are more black people. please understand i say that without malice as i grew up in a Polish catholic church becuase in the townit's where primarily Poles settled when they immigrated. anyway, a friend of mine, who' white, is the organist at the "black" church and it's the same - there isn't any difference in the Mass itself or the organizations. they will have potluck and social events that will be more with soul food for meals and some of the social events will have thingsthat are inherant to their cultural upbringing (southern). at my home parish the Polish one - the food and cultural things would be different.
so in essence, the Mass is the same but the social activities are inherant to the culture of the congregation!

I have seen Catholic Churches when many different races. The one I attend has many different ones too. I presume you would need to go to an area such as Louisiana where there are more Black Catholics. The Mass is the Mass anywhere you go.

Not going to be much different than you are used to other than regional differences probably. Same church, same rituals, same God.

I've never been to one, but my wife used to work at a hotel and black church leaders who were visiting always demanded discounts and special treatment, like they were better or something. Typical.
