There are perfume stores that allow you to make your own scent. That way, it'll be all yours.

Go for the one that is not too strong for you. You can refresh during the day by spraying some more. The opposite just doesn't work that way.
Go to a perfume store with the not so long lasting perfume and explain your situation. They should be able to guide you.
Lastly, perfume is like coffee, the best coffee, as well as the best perfume comes from........doesn't matter! It is up to your taste!
My grandma loved Vicks! My 80 year old mom likes White Linen and my wife likes Dior.
Just smell good, please!

You go to the perfume dep. and spray a perfume onto yourself (wrist) is best .You leave it and go away for 1/4 of an hour forget about the perfume in that time ! After 15 mins. sniff your wrist ,if you like the smell buy the perfume or test another one on the other wrist !I used to work in an airport perfumerie and always did this with my costumers and they where pleased as punch and always came back and bought some perfume or other !

Your best bet: look in your yellow pages under "perfumiers". If there is a professional perfumier in your area, set up an appointment to have them create a scent especially for you. One in the New Orleans area is Bourbon French Perfumes. They will consult with you on what you like and don't like, try out some base notes to see what smells best with your body chemistry, and tweak it until it is to your satisfaction. Any good custom perfumier should be able to do this, and you have the "coolness" factor of knowing that you will never smell exactly like anyone else. A TRUE signature scent in every sense of the words.

You have to test it on your wrist. If it smells good an hour after you try it, then it is a good perfume for you.

When using perfume testers, spray onto your skin instead of onto the cards they supply.
You will find a scent you like, but it takes time.
Good luck.

It's kind of like shopping for a partner... just have to keep trying until you find it. "You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find the prince."

spray it on in the store and then walk around with it on to see if you like it, or if it stays strong..
