This is all up to you, do you like your friend just a little bit? If so, then go out with her, you'd never know, you might like your friend more than her best friend afterward, but DON'T go out with her for the sake of waiting for her best friend to be single, that would be using your friend, how would you feel if someone did that to you, it's just not right, and if you honestly don't think it is going to work out between your friend and you, let her know straight (gently), don't give them false hopes, it would hurt her more if you only tell her later, so make up your mind soon.

Tell this girl you really enjoy the friendship the two of you have but you are not interested in anything more than friendship. If she can accept this, fine. If not, you must move on without having her in your life. As for the other person, wait until things change before even considering the idea of approaching her. Do you think this would cause confusion between the two girls? If so, you may need to forget about both of them and travel on to new territory.

the only problem you've got here.. is ..... do u like ur friend (the one who likes u now)? If you do then go out with her, but if you dont , then dont. you shouldnt have to go out with her just cause she likes you. Let her off gently, very gently.. you dont wanna ruin ur friendship, and sometimes you dont even have to say anything, after awhile shell probably take a hint, that ur not interested. o and dont wait around forever for the girls best friend, cause then ur just wasting ur time, that u could be spending goin with other girls.

If you don't really like your friend in a sexual way, then don't go out with her. Just tell her that you just like to continue being friends. If you have a crush on the other girl, then yes, consider asking her out when she's single.

If you know you dont like her then dont play like you do. You see the thing with females we like to analze things so when you asked her to the dance she probly took that as a signed that you liked her!!And she'd absoletly hate you if you went with her friend. But if her friend likes you back she'll just have to get over it cause you cant miss out on potietional happyness.Let me warn you it will more than likely be alot of drama.

No, stay friends w/ her just explain to her that you like someone else and if she still dosen't back off tell her you cant be her friend anymore. But you really can't blame someone for haveing a crush on you.

Well I don't think you should date her. Some people have trouble being friends again after they break up. You don't want to ruin that friendship do you? But on the otherhand, if you think you can be friends after you break up then I say go for it.

Best friends talk, so use her to get to the other girl. Just be really good to her, even kiss her and show her how good you are, then she will bragg to the friend, they all do.
The friend will come around sometime in the future.

do you like her more? if you do you should try it, but if you find that you really don't you might just let her down easy. Because you will never date both of them (friend's code), and realize that you might never get her friend.
