All of those! Research some easy face masks that you can make at home. Do eachothers nails and watch girly movies while you put on the masks and do the nails. That way the movie doesnt become the main focus, but its still something to watch when you're the one getting your nails done. Pig out on chips, cookies and soda. I went to a great slumber party like this, with an Ouija board!! We played all the silly games like bloody mary and light as a feather stiff as a board. As long as you keep things moving, i'm sure you'll have a great time. Good luck and congrats for your friend!

Here is a crafty treat-
Shoestring licorice bracelets. Braid a bracelet then eat them up.

Musical sleeping bags ( just like musical chairs)

Dress-Up Relay
Fill two suitcases, each with a complete adult-sized dress-up outfit. Include accessories like clip-on earrings, a tie or scarf, belt, socks, shoes, even pantyhose and a slip! Make sure there are an equal number of items in each suitcase. Divide the girls at the party into 2 equal teams. On “go,” players take turns running with the suitcase across the room, putting on every item in the suitcase over their regular clothes, and running back to the group. The next person in line helps the previous player “undress,” repacks the suitcase, runs across the room, and repeats the process. The first team to dress up all of its players wins.

Gift Grab

Before the party, wrap one small gift for each guest (it’s best to have them similar or the same). Have name labels ready, but don’t attach them to the gifts until party time. Divide the gifts equally between two large bags.

At the party, divide girls into two teams. Give each team one of the large bags of gifts and a pair of oversized gloves. Quickly attach the name labels to the gifts and place them into the appropriate team’s bag.

On “Go!” a player from each team puts on the gloves, finds the gift with her name on it, opens it, returns the gloves to the bag, then passes the bag to the next player. The first team to open all its gifts wins.

High tech:
Karaoke
Twister Moves®

Low tech:
Balloon volleyball
Mad libs
Hairstyling for a favorite doll
Scavenger hunt

Very Cool Cupcakes

1. Let two pints of ice cream (any flavor) soften for about 30 minutes.
2. Place cupcake liners in a muffin tin.
3. Spoon softened ice cream into liners. Freeze until solid.
4. For fun colors, add food coloring to vanilla frosting, then frost cupcakes and decorate with sprinkles, sugars, and candies.
Tip: Plan your topping ideas before removing cupcakes from freezer, so they don’t melt too quickly while you’re decorating.

Rainbow Punch
Place 6 scoops rainbow sherbet in a punch bowl. Pour in 8 cups of ginger ale. Serve in punch cups. Guaranteed giggles!

Make Her Own
Sundae bars are always popular food treats. Girls also love make-your-own bars with the fixings for:

Tacos
Nachos
Popcorn
Mini Pizzas
Hot Pretzels

Have fun and good luck

Try having a theme like a horror theme (well that's probably not appropriate) but a theme from a favourite movie or era in time and then match the decorations, food and games to the theme. You could have them all dress up too.

Buy some foam frames at WAl Mart and foam shapes. Let the kids decorate them. Take a digital picture of all of the girls and put it in the frame as a memory.

Make up parties or do their nails. Buy all sortsof cheap nail polish, cuticle tools, etc.

Have the kids make cupcakes and decorate them with all sorts of sprinkles, etc. or do a homemade pizza.

We did this for my daughter who is 10 last year. I got together the make up and nails polish I didn't use, and let them do make overs. I also rented a some DVDs. And we had pizza delivered. And had bought soda, juices, pop corn, chips etc... We had 8 girls total and they had a blast. Just make sure if you do the make up, nail polish thing that you check with the other parents to make sure it is okay.

For food--get english muffins, and all the pizza fixin's you can think of. Then let each girl create her own pizza! Later, make POPCORN!!
Buy a bunch of plain white T shirts, and Rit dye, and fabric paint. Let themm tie-dye and decorate t-shirts as memories!

And rent some movies to pop in when they are all in their sleeping bags, to help them go to sleep.
