BBQ ribs with a hot sauce, corn bread with butter and honey, maybe some onion rings, beans with onion, a root beer, peppermint ice cream.

Going to go have that right now, as a matter of fact. (Hope they dont kill me afterwards, but if they do...they do)

A honkin' huge plate of New York strip steak with grilled mushrooms, onions, and peppers, along with a loaded baked potato, green bean casserole, garden-ripened tomatoes with bleu cheese dressing, and a loaf of freshly-baked bread.

I'd wash it all down with a soda-fountain style cherry Coke and some good coffee. And for dessert, a nice big banana split!

I'd be burping and grinning all the way to the Pearly Gates!

Barbecued tri tip from Ben Lomond Market's barbecue king! He's phenomenal. You walk by the set-up in the parking lot where he's turning the tri tip and the chicken over, and you just want to bottle that smell! Then I'd add some of their macaroni salad, probably the roasted veggies -- yes, roasted, large pieces of all sorts of great vegetables -- and top it off with one of their gooier desserts. Normally, I would not be allowed to have the sugar, but if I'm going to die anyway, who cares about glucose tolerance tests?

Just in case I've tempted you, Ben Lomond is in the mountains of Santa Cruz County, California, along Highway Nine. We sometimes call it Highway 9 3/4. LOL!
