never go caught and usually we just make sure someone is home during the inspection. And if u don't want them to inspect the bathroom, have a friend/family member take a shower or use the restroom during the inspection. Then they may say that they will come back to inspect the bathroom and when they do, move the cat to another room.

Seriously: if you want to keep the dog, find a different apartment that will allow pets. You are entering into a legal agreement when you sign the lease or rental contract. It'd be just a matter of time before your dog was discovered. Most likely, the landlord would give you notice that you need to get rid of the dog or find somewhere else to live. At that point, you'd have to find a new home for the dog or a new home for both of you. Why not avoid all that and just find a nice home that you can both be happy in? Then you won't have the hassle of moving again, the stress of trying to hide the dog, subsequent legal problems, etc. P.S. It seems inappropriate to make the dog wear a no-bark collar so you can hide it in the apartment. If she is your baby, treat her with love. PPS. Check into how a no-bark collar works. I think it works by giving the dog an electrical shock when the dog barks.

I would see if a friend or family member would look after the kitten for you till you can find a place that will allow animal. it's not fair to you or the cat to have to be under that kind of stress, poor kitten only gets to live in the bathroom, what kind of life is that. should be alowed to run around and play though your whole apartment.
you will unfortunalty probably get evicted if you are caught with the kitten.
Good luck

Happened to me, twice !!! I lived where we weren't "supposed" to have ANY cats...but we had 2. When inspections came around.. of course, they couldn't 'pinpoint' which day they would be there... so for a week or two, we had to take the cats to "grandma's" house... for a 'vacation'. lol. That worked, but with the first time, we were caught. They gave us a 'notice' to either get rid of the cats, or move out within 72 hours.

Yes Me, I had a chihuahua, My mom told me not to tell anybody .Then when inspection day came my mom was going crazy I told her that while the inspector is moving I'll hide from him/her so we won't get caught. But they caught us and we got kicked out. Then when we left my next door neighbor got kicked out. Those inspectors are to strict.

first let me say you cant keep the pet in the bathroom !!!!!!! thats no life for a cat or anyother pet.
second your landlord needs to by law give 24 hour notice befor entering your apartment.
i had a cat my landlord didnt want there and when i knew he would be there i took the cat next door to my friends 4 the day.
if u decide u cant keep the kitten please make sure it has a good home.

You can get evicted or have to pay a pet deposit. Did you sign a lease? Rental contract? Maybe you should read it.
