If you put it mathematically, the answer is the probability is much greater that they will die. The things to factor are age, properties of the area they will land on, and any physical impediment that will break their fall.
Now, calculate the probability based on those three things, they are young and can bounce back from injury, the area they are landing on is water more than 10 feet deep, and there were awnings or tree branches that broke the speed of descent.
The answer is
Not likely.

YES THEY CAN. I FELL OUT OF A CRANE, AROUND 32-35 FEET AND LANDED ON A CONCRETE FLOOR. I WAS LUCKY I DID NOT DIE. I HAD SHATTERED HIP& HIP BALL , A COMPOUND FEMUR FRACTURE, BROKEN RIBS, INTERNAL INJURIES ETC. IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE HOW YOU LAND. IF YOU LAND ON YOUR HEAD , YOU ARE A GONER, IF YOU FALL FEET DOWN , YOU ARE A CRIPPLED FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, IF YOU FALL ON YOUR SIDE, YOU WILL GET MESSED UP AND BE AN INVALID . ANY WAY SORRY FOR TELLING MY STORY.
MANY PEOPLE WILL SURVIVE THE FALL, BUT MANY WILL NOT.

It has been known to happen, it all depends on how the person lands on the ground and how soft the ground is. But they'd have very serious injuries though.
