I am trying to build a pneumatic pumpkin laucher for my farm as an attraction, I need something that can at least shoot a 5 pound pumkin 100 ft, any websites with information, or ideas?

The site below doesn't have the plans (I think the details are secret) but you can get an idea of their setup and they have links to other teams' cannons.

Look on the Mythbusters website. I'm assuming they have one. I saw those knuckleheads build a air powered cannon to fire chickens. I think they used 8" pipe. Would take some engineering to work out the details like how big an air tank you would need to charge up for each shot.

Firing a 5 lb pumpkin doesn't a 100 ft doesn't sound to safe to me. Rough calculation it would require a velocity of around 30 mph. I wouldn't want to get in the way.

A steel pipe about 18" in diameter. A rubber diapragm and compressed nitrogen. (i.e. and air cannon) We shot a pumpkin over 100 yards with a similar mechanism.
