Yes. I do not feel like I am looking at the world through jaded eyes any more. I believe that is what sin does to you--it really messes with you. After going to confession you really feel like an innocent child again.

I'm an EX-Catholic and I was certain at first that the priest couldn't see me when i went to a confession untill some recent time I got fed up because before or after it the priest peeked out,oh and also he also rushed me with saying my sins,...I now only confess to GOD alone.

It doesn't matter if I "feel" since feelings don't have anything to do with what happens. Thinking of my feelings makes confession all about me when it should be all about being sorry for not loving God.

Typically, there is some relief after getting sins off one's chest and hearing that we are forgiven. However, like most emotional responses, it varies with each individual Confession of our sins. It often varies in proportion to how bad the sins were and the depth of our repentance.

I am catholic and i've never been to confession. I'm in RCIC to become a full catholic, but i only feel better after i confess to God, not to my preist

i feel soooo clean after confession, that i go out fortwith from the confessional box looking for the nastiest sin to commit to dirty myself again.
