I bought the wrong box of pineapple upside down cake mix. Will it still be good if I don't put the brown sugar in it? The brown sugar is what goes between the cake and pineapples and cherries. I hope it still turns out good.

Yes, it will still taste great, it just won't have the caramel-type of syrup on it. It will be less calories, too!!

Do you like Confectioners sugar like on glazed doughnuts? Try 1/2 C Con sugar 1/2 C Pineapple or Lemon juice mixed together. Toothpick the top of the cake when it's done a pour over. It'll seep in and boy is it gooooooood.

the only way to know is to try it. I don't care for brown sugar, so I would be more apt to leave it out. It may surprise you how well it may turn out and you have found a new cake mix. Good luck.
