We recently celebrated a major anniversary and recieved some lovely presents. You may consider a gift certificate for the couple at a spa to have a couples massage or manicure and pedicure. Even the guys like it.
OR, you may consider a timeless gift such as a piece of crystal or memorable ornament.
OR, you may consider tickets to local sporting event or theatre play.
When all else fails, a gift certificate for a nice dinner out sufices.

how about a pretty personalized wedding photo quilt. that way they can put a picture in each slot for each year they have been together. it's a little more creative than a traditional frame, but classy enough for an older couple
