I would argue that the premise is wrong. Terrorists don't seem to be alienated in this world in any way. Anything they do, say or post on the Internet is put in front of the media. Countries like Spain change their entire political process upon incidence of terrorism. The tourism in places like Bali is a fraction of what it used to be, proving they effectively shut don the economy. These people seem to enjoy the celebrity we give them, and the more terrorist acts, the larger the focus on them becomes.

All that aside, the UN does not seem in any real way committed to stopping terrorism. Unfortunately, attacking the UN might be their best bet to eliminate any small threat the UN poses, and achieve ultimate relevance and power.

I pray the UN and the more responsible countries of our planet will do more to combat the threat of terrorism, and the Media will stop giving them the attention that their terrorist acts crave so.
