I started dating this guy, he calls often, we see eachother regularly, and we have had sex. We both have just recently gotten out of serious relationships so he tells me he just wants to continue casually dating me, because he isn't ready for the term girlfriend. So does that mean I am the only one he is dating, he just wants his own life still, or does he plan on dating other people? What do you think?

Casual means he doesn't want it to become serious and most likely has no intention of ever wanting it to become serious.
It doesn't mean exclusive dating though, so you will have to ask him about that one.

Casual Dating means just that. You are not exclusive..None of your dates are exclusive. Everyone involved has the same understanding that they can see anyone that they feel like seeing. In this phase of a relationship it is a good idea not to sleep with a partner unless you want to go on to the level of exclusive dating. It is a good way to meet other people and take your time to decide who you will get serious with.

Casual dating is when you are dating someone without a commitment. It means that even though you are really having a good time and great sex that he can be doing the same with other people. It doesn't mean that he is, just that he wants the option should he need it.

I think he wants an unpaid hooker... Casual dating shouldn't include sex. Casual dating should be a movie now and then, no making out. Casual dating is what friends do when they are going from A: friends to B: couples.
I say he is using you. But, of course, you need to examine your own feelings about this. If her really liked you he would make sure to respect you.

Like what everyone else says. He probably wants to continue dating you and hanging out but he also wants to see what else is out there. He wants to have that option open. It comes down to the term "being exclusive". If you are exclusively dating, then you are only dating that one person, otherwise you are casually dating.

casual dating means dinner. drinks, movies when you are both free also dating other people in the same way. to me you aren't casually dating if you are also sleeping together and regularly seeing each other. It sounds like he wants to be or is dating other people. that's what makes it casual.

casual dating means that there is no commitment. he can and you can date other people. he probably just wants the sex rightnow since he just got out of another relationship. i can give you tips if you want it to be more than casual let me know. from experince i have turned three casuals in to serious stuff.

Casual dating says to me he isn't ready for any kind of commitment, that he wants to keep his options open at this point, but that he enjoys being with you. But I honestly wouldn't count on you being the only one he's seeing.

Casual dating means that you're making no committment to any person that you're dating, which means that you can date and do whetever with other people. It's just done to be "fun" (yeah right) and get to know people more with no strings attached.
