If you want to then go for it. I've been getting highlights for about a year now and my hair is naturally really really dark brown, and almost looks black. If you get the right colour it really lightens your overall colour. I would recommend going to a salon to get it done, because they're qualified and they can give you advice on colouring. I've had bad experiences with home bleaching kits. They don't usually turn out exactly how you want.

Yes, I think highlights in brown hair is pretty but it may take you a while to get use to the highlights in your hair.

yes,if they suit you. try to go for a color that makes the highlights look more natural, because i know a few girls in my school who have dark brown hair and they got bright blonde highlights, and they looked really bad and fake.
after you get the highlights, try using sunsilk shampoos.
hope this helps!

Hi, sure some nice light gold highlights would look great. My hair is brown and that color works for me.

well depends...if u are kinda pale then highlights would brighten up your face.....but sometimes highlights dont look good on everyone......have you tried hair glaze? it makes your hair soo shiny and soft....but as far as highlights go-its a personal choice...i say try it! if you dont like the look you can always color over it.....have fun
