is asking the same girl out twice in the span of a year a good idea? can her feelings change in a year? i asked my friend out 5 days after her bf broke up with her. should i give it another shot or is it a lost cause?

Well I can see why she said no the first time. You asked her out way too early. She had just broken up with her boyfriend. 5 days later is too soon for her to be going out with another guy after a breakup. A person needs time to get over the breakup and get themselves together. I would definitely give it another shot if it's been a year. Go ahead and try your luck with this one more time.

im not sure if its a good idea, but i know its not a bad idea. and yeah ppls feeling can change in a matter of seconds or it could take years aswell. it depends in how long its been now that your ready to aske her out again. you should definatly give it another shot. i mean life is all about chances. the worst that could happen is she could say no. but there are so many girls out there. but if she is ready and she is interested in you then she might say yes. the only reason you should forget bout her is if you dont like her, or if she is still stuck on her ex cause then you will be waiting around just like i am right now, and that sucks.

you should go ahead and ask. she may have said no before because she was her by her recent break up. if you ask her out and she says no you should casually ask why. don't pressure her or intimidate just say you are curious why. ask her "you would rather just be friends?" that way you can figure is she just saying no at the moment or if it is really better for you to forget about dating her entirely because she likes someone else or would rather just be friends. that way you won't have to ask again "should i try again with this girl?" good luck!! go for it!!
