All of the other teeth around this one looks fine and are in good condition. Im wondering if its the old filling? or possibly my wisdom teeth pushing but that wouldn't explain the deep blue color

It's not your wisdom teeth turning the tooth blue. My guess is that your old amalagam filling is cracked and the cavity is getting worse. You need to have the amalagam filling removed and replaced with a white composite filling.

Depends. I got two fillings at once and only one hurt after ward. There maybe an infection or its just pressure on the tooth from the filling. Take some pain killers, mainly ibeprophin. If it still hurts in one week later call ur dentist.

i would go to the dentist. the xray will show if there is decay under the old filling. sometimes the old silver filling can stain the tooth which causes it to look blue. dont wait on this. when it hurts thats not always a good sign. fix it now before it gets worse

the color is because it is an old filling and they eventually bleed onto your tooth. it probably has decay under it or needs a rootcanal that is the cause of the pain. the color is not an issue but the pain is therfore you need to make an appointment.

Go see a dentist immediately. There is probably decay under the old filling, and you may need a root canal to fix the problem.

More then likely the color is due to the amalgam filling which is shining through your tooth structure or it is decay that having a shadow effect on it.
