Im looking for a stopwatch that can also measure your distance when jogging/running. If not what do you suggest as a measurement for running (pedometer is for walking only i suppose) ? ??

Yes, they are called Garmin Forerunners. They communicate via satellite to record your pace and distance. It is fairly accurate. However, I would not use it if you are running in the woods or deep city environs, since it must have a line of site to the satellite.

You can look at the ForeRunners here:

http://www.garmin.com/products/forerunner201/ or

If you want to try and plot your course on a virtual map to get your distance, check out http://www.usatf.org/routes/map

I'm not for sure. I had a pedometer and i used it for running. It wasn't very accurate for running or walking. I didn't use it again. I just try to go to a place where i know the distance and just use a stop watch. But something like that would be nice. Good luck!

This is a really easy to use site for measuring distance. (check sources)

I know there are stopwatches like the one you are asking about but they are usually unaccurate. Google for it and see. Or check Ebay.
