Its been a long while since I last dated and I kinda forget the basics of it! I will be meeting this girl for a date for the first time this coming weekend. I know this sounds dumb but do I shake her hands, hug her, give a peck on her cheek when I meet her? Also, at the end of the date, what shd i do to bid her farewell?? Pls help!!!

Your to take flowers! Hand her the flowers, if by the end of the date your not getting flowers thrown back into your face then your allowed to grope her.

I think that at the beginning, it depends on how well you know the girl that you are asking out. If just meet, hand shake. If aleady friends, a hug. If she is a better friend then most, a kiss on the check.
As for what you do at the end, it all depends on how the date went!

When you first meet-shake her hand! At the end of the date if you only had a so,so time don't do anything. If you kinda hit it off & you like her & think you click ask her if you can kiss her & then kiss her ide she says okay. ! If she says no then you know she does not really like you at all & then just say it was nice meeting you & forget about her. Good luck!!

Hug her! Definately don't shake hands, you're not meeting her for an interview! Hehe. At the end of the date, maybe kiss her on the cheek. It's sweet but it also shows respect for her.

you are bieng way to hard on yourself see it all depends on the person i am a very huggy feely person BUT some people like their space you will know when you meet her extend your hand i would nt even let it bother you sometimes it takes a minute or 2 to warm up at the end of the date give her a hug and if she is receptive to that then give her a kiss just pick up on her clues trust me you will know just be yourself and relax good luck and have fun

go with the hug at the start of the date, then later on (when you are saying goodbye for instance) go ahead and give her a peck on the cheek (if the date went well) while hugging her.

shake her hand, if things go well during the evening then give her a kiss on the cheek, if they go bad, don't even bother shaking hands just leave

always give her a handshake. a kiss is too extreme, and a hug may be too...if its the first date
and for bidding farewell, try for the hug, if she backs away, then go for the hand shake again

at the begginning i would hug her and at the end depending on how it goes i would hug her and kiss her on the cheek, but if it doesnt go so hot then just stick with a hug
