where can i download a free flash program or something.. cuz i want to make a cartoon that moves that goes with music..

If you want to make one by yourself from scratch you will need to buy Flash and probably a book or two, read a zillion tutorials on the Internet and then you might be able to give it a try.

I heard once that someone downloaded a Macromedia Flash 30-day trial and than downloaded something called a crack from a p2p client. The crack explained how to unlock the 30 day trial so you could use it, as if you bought it. It's prolly illegal though, so don't open up a business with that sort of software. For some reason Macromedia doesn't think that people just want to make small non-profit cartoons, so they charge hundreds of dollars. I'm not so sure everyone on newgrounds.com owns Flash, but there are a lot of beginner cartoons and helpful resources.

(almost forgot. The newer flash versions are REALLY complex. Try Flash 5 first if you can find a download of it on google. That one animates well, and you'll learn the basics)

You will have to develop some mad skills to accomplish that. Flash is not an easy program to just start using and expect to see the results you see others performing on the net. Get a good Flash book and start reading. There are no magic tools to do what you ask.

according to the commercials, i think all you have to do is buy a mac. i heard you can be a rock star, a movie producer, a photography expert- whatever you want to be---
it's really dumbed down the whole process for people that don't have time to learn how to create something original, or the cash to pay someone that spent a good portion of their lives learning a particular program/skill so they can make a living :)

any quality flash animator program is gonna cost money i don't suggest getting one that doesn't because its probably free for a very good reason meaning it probably sucks. and many hackers love to prey on people looking for free stuff as well.

goto the flash website and you can download the 30 day trial, but if you want the who thing without the trial you will have to buy it for $699.
