I would say A is probaly the hardest to do but something we should all strive for. There are people who say .."You have to earn respect...I'm not showing it unless I get it."
Well I feel like to be higher on the food chain requires acting smarter than what's below you. If we choose B well we'd be a slug or whatever creepy crawly too.
C is an okay answer too and if it's offensive in a scary way or continues then D report the slug!!!!

Depending on the level of disrecpect, I either answer respectfully and point out the shortcomings of the question, or not answer at all. I report questions that violate community guidelines, not just my own comfort. I usually don't bother teaching them a lesson unless I can think of a short humorous answer to make fun of them.

I am 63 years young and I was taught to respect other peoples opinions, although I disagreed with them.
If the question is rude or of a personal nature and you believe it doesn't require an answer tell the person so, the truth is the only real answer.
If the person annoys you TELL THEM SO!
Don't let something that you can't control damage your life, life is too short.

A or C depending if I already know the answer. If the question is asked with respect, I would look for an answer to help the person.

I would rather exercise some self-restraint in the matter with regards to reporting someone because running off to Big Brother everytime someone offends me would be rather childish.

Bear in mind implied restraint in the matter- I didn't dismiss the idea outright. There are times when doing so is justified.

It depends. If the person just asks a down right dumb question i probably wont answer with that much respect. but if a person really wants to know something. i answer with respect.

I'm very sarcastic and also very honest. So more than likely, they aren't going to like my answer anyways. I won't say my answer will be disrespectful, but you can bet it will be an honest one and I won't care if they like the answer or not.
