Yes. They can come into heat without you knowing and become pregnant. People ALWAYS say they didn't know that cat was in heat.

We had a five month old get pregnant - she could have been in heat and we didn't notice (though other cats have howled and rolled and it was really obvious). Anyways, she got pregnant before we could get her spayed, but she did fine as a mom.

Yes, you maybe didnt even know that she was in heat! They cant get pregnate untill there in heat! You just didnt know it and your just freakin' out cuz you didnt know she has or not.
