I have this friend, for some reason I want him to like me, which he does, i know he has a huge crush on me and I LOVE it. I don't want him to like any one else but me because I think I have this crush on him, but im not sure. On the other hand though, i would never be with him, he is to young and immature. Am i using him or hurting him by pretty much allowing him to think I might one day be his girlfriend? I believe that if me and him were dating, it would just be awkard, he is my dorky guy friend, not my lover...

What are you doing that you think might be hurtful to him ? Are you lying to him somehow ? Whatever it is you think you are doing wrong .. just change that. Tell him how you really feel .. or don't say anything. Maybe you love him but don't want to admit it to yourself.. I'd give it more time and see how you feel about him in 3 to 6 months from now. Yes you can have a crush or be attracted to someone you'd not consider dating...however if you are knowingly allowing him to think you might date him, that's called "stringing him along" and it's a lousy thing to do...
Treat others as you'd like to be treated...what if you were head over heels digging some guy, and he gave you just enough flirting and attention to keep you hooked...but never asked you out (and never intended to)...how would feel if you knew he'd done it intentionally, hoping you wouldn't go for some other guy because he liked his ego fed with the attention, but didn't like you enough (in that way) to take the next step? Ya wouldn't be so happy about that, would you?
What goes around, comes around...be honest with your crush guy...let him have his life and not hope for something that's not going to happen...get off your power/ego trip and be mature...you called him immature but what you are doing is not a sign of maturity...or a nice person...

well if you have a crush that's between you and your crush but if hes to young then maybe you guys can just enjoy being friends and tell him hes being to immature and work your way into a relationship unless hes wayyyyyy to young for you!!!!!!!!

Yes, you are being selfish. You call him your friend, but you have no problems with leading him on and hurting him to fulfill your own needs for attention.

well ya like 2 years ago i liked this girl and she knew i liked her but she said she would never date me because she didnt want to have a BF.but know we got to know eachother we like eachother were BF and GF she did have a crush on me but didnt want to date me but know we are.
