Matthew 20
"17Now as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and said to them, 18"We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death 19and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!"

Note Jesus said third day not three days, He rose on the third day.

No it is not, after John the Baptist was murdered he was warned of the danger, he did know that he could be next, but chose to go to Jerusalem for pass over any way, he did know that he would be betrayed by one of the disciples. I don't recall any prediction he might of made regarding his death on the cross though.

Thanks be to God he did this for you, me, and all.

It is easy to predict it when a) anyone doing what he was doing was typically murdered, and b) when his account of his life came 40 years after he died. Somehow Christians think there is still free will regardless of this.

When he couldn't convince the Jews that he was the Messiah, he then had no choice but to at least give 'spiritual salvation' to mankind through his death.
