I would say at least 4-6 hours if you are using a crock pot.if you are using a slow roaster it may take less time,you would have to check it after 4 hours.

Put it in on your way to work in the morning and it should be ready and delicious when you get home in the evening. Elapsed time: 9 hours.

all day from say 8 - dinner time let heat should have on high tho

i usually cook mine for 8 hours, but i have it on high for the first couple hours or so
