I'm not familiar with this classification.
Paul's conversion still required the participation of his own free will. He was free to refuse to be converted, to think he had a hallucination etc.
Conversions as this happen when two conditions are fulfilled:
1. that the future convert is so hard-hearted that any other gentler method won't work;
2. that this close encounter with God will have the effect of conversion and not that of denial (e.g. most people are so hard-hearted today that they would rather think they had a hallucination or something like that).
