I just finished school and just started to work (a month). So basically I need to buy a computer from Dell but unfortunately they could not issue the loan.

I have a debit and credit cards with a very limited daily spending / credit limit. I tried applying other credit card including Dell and failed.

So I need to know what my option(s) is.

(+) my credit history is quite low.

unfortunately, you will have to wait. I'm guessing that they can't extend you the line of credit because of your short credit history. The only possible thing I could think of is going to your bank/credit union and ask to see if they could give you a personal loan. Or ask your credit card to up your limit. The last thing you could do is check with your work to see if they would purchase the computer for you and take the money out of your paychecks every time you get paid. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until you have a lengthier credit history. Sorry, I know it sucks, but good luck!

it was smart to ask first and let me just say
!!!!!!!!!!! dont be foolish!!!!!!
save and buy when you can afford it.
ruined credit can take a decade to fix!
what you have works. even if its the library.
go to a credit counselor and develop a budget. see if there are free help through social services or www.hud.gov near you.
find out if you can afford more school is a better option!
and waiting for dual core and vista to come down in price is also smart.
never buy technology when its to new. unless you like spending a lot of extra money

Obviously you have a computer that works....so you just WANT a new computer......

try to get a target or walmart card, and use it only to make regular purchases, and then pay it off IMMEDIATELY!!!!

If you do this for a while, eventually you will get a credit card offer in the mail.

Bottom line....WAIT until you have better credit

Ask your current credit card company to grant you a credit increase. If this does not work, try applying for cards with other creditors. If someone gives you the credit line you need, cancel the others and stick with them.

Theres this company called Blue HIppo they do it where you pay half up front they send you a comp and then they make monthly debits from one of your accounts for the balance. They look like kind of cheesy comps on the commercial though. Big old boxy monitors that kind of thing. Don't know anything about the operating systems.

I think Rent a Center offers PCs for rent in addition to furniture. Rent a Center appeals to people with bad credit and boy oh boy do they exploit. But it it's something that you absolutely need for work it might be an option.

Save your money and buy one with cash. You can get a decent computer for not too much money... if you need all the bells and whistles, then you'll be saving for quite awhile. But really, don't add to your debt/credit problem.
