It may be an indication that you are getting a good nights rest, although you shouldn't be alarmed if you occasionally remember a dream. Dreams occur during the period of sleep known as REM (Rapid Eye Movement) It's a deep state of sleep, but not the one that you usually wake up from. So on the occasions where you have been woken up from REM sleep you will be more likely to remember any dreams that occurred during your sleep. But if you continue on into the next stage, then you won't be able to remember any dreams. You ARE dreaming, but by the time you wake up, they are forgotten.

You dream while in REM(rapid eye movement) theres different stages of sleep, REM happens at random stages of your sleep pattern and happens in the first 90 mins of sleep so if you wake during REM you'll remember your dream, but if you wake during a lighter stage of sleep you most likely wont remember it. Averagely your supposed to have 3 to 6 REM episodes a night. A body is supposed to be paralysed at this point, but brain activity is basically the same as when we'r awake. hope that helps :)

its perfectly normal not to be able to remember your dreams. Douglas is right. Dreaming happens during your REM stage and not everyone remembers their dreams. I don't. Don't worry though because although you dont remember them, it doesnt mean you dont have them. Try waiting 5 minutes after you wake up to see if you can remember even a small fragment of your dream. You may or may not remember anything or it may just be a small miniscule detail.

the truth is that the mind forgets them in about 5 minutes after waking up, and most times within 5 minutes of waking up, we dont think of anything, so the best way to remember is to keep a pen and paper by the bed and as soon as you wake up, write down what comes to mind first.

Sometimes, you don't as you are woken during REM sleep, or from a metaphysics perspective you may not remember them as you don't need too, some people believe that we 'do work' while we sleep, so that may be your case. The decision is yours.

all human beings aims, yet various human beings do no longer undergo in ideas them. that is completely commonplace, and genuinely fairly uncomplicated. additionally, as a fashion to undergo in ideas them you need to be woken up via an outdoors source, like an alarm or somebody shaking you; in case you oftentimes awaken certainly then you definately won't undergo in ideas your aims very oftentimes. Even then, you need to pay interest on the dream as a fashion to undergo in ideas it; in case you do no longer attempt to think of roughly it, you will ignore it. various the time, human beings ignore their aims except it has a super impression on them or they write it down.

I was told by a friend that you have lots of dreams at night and because of that you remember that you were having when you woke up.

If you can get someone to go into your subconsciuos maybe they can have you "see" it again. Justa thought...

your thinking about it too much, and like someone above said your minds not relaxed enough. try eating a block of cheese right before bed, and it may induce nightmares, hehe.
