My husband has been painting for an elderly couple and has fallen in love w/ their dog. However he can't remember the breed. It's a terrior looks alot like "benji" but about 1/3 rd the size. The owners said it is one of the smallest teriior breeds. any ideas?

well it could be a few different breeds! it could be:
*Glen of imaal terrier
*Cairn terrier
*norfolk terrier
*norwich terrier
Search these breeds on the internet and see if they look like ur mystery dog!

My personal guess would be the Border Terrier. But, it could be a Cairn, Norfolk, Norwich, or even a Skye Terrier. Check out the breeds at http://www.akc.org for pics and see if any look like this dog. Good luck!

It could be a tibetan terrier....they look a lot like Benji...and they're very good dogs....once used in Tibet as watch dogs in castles...they're a sentry dog...meaning they bark anytime something is amiss or different....a knock at the door, a strange box placed in the center of the floor....very comical breed.... http://www.akc.org/breeds/tibetan_terrier/index.cfm
