****YES*****
Chocolate toxicity is one of the most common 'poisonings' seen in veterinary clinics, especially during the busy holiday season (and Valentine's Day). We know to keep that chocolate box especially for guests or that gift box of chocolates out of Fluffy's or Fido's reach. But it is easy to overlook holiday baking with its more deadly chocolate forms – semisweet chips and baking chocolate.

I have had dogs all my life. I have never seen one of my dogs die from eating chocolate. Although chocolate is not good for dogs, I think it depends on the size of the dog and the quantity of chocolate. I had a big dog eat a box of it and lived to bark the next day.

Yes you can!!!!!! Do not give your animal chocolate it is not ok. If it does eat it take it to the vet. People may be like yes I givemy dog it all the time doesn't mean its ok. There could be something wrong with their dog but no syptoms. Just like people.

YES, you can kill your dog by feeding it chocolate. Please don't give it to your dog, no matter what anyone says. Research it on the web, or ask your vet. You will find the information you need. BE good to your dog, don't feed it human food.

I wouldn't try it. Last time my sister was being an idiot and spilled a whole thing of chocolate M&Ms. My dog ate it all up and my dog threw up a few times and wouldn't eat a lot for a few days.

It can be toxic to them, but it has to be LARGE amounts. We'll give our dogs an M&M or two every now and then, opr a chocolate chip cookie, things like that. I wouldn;t give them any big wuantites though.

chocolate keeps oxygen molecules from being able to properly bind to the bloodcells in your dog. too much chocolate can cause them to affixiate. if your dog has eaten chocolate, take them to the vet immediately. they will probably have them puke it all back up (i had to assist with that at the clinic i worked at).

Yes, they are actually unable to process and eliminate one of the chemicals in chocolate (can't remember which one right now).
