I have faith that your wife is getting packed up to move and I pray that she isn't doing all the work!

Faith is the excuse for ignorance. If ignorance is bliss, Christians must be having never-ending explosive orgasms. And prayer? Does prayer work? Hundreds of millions prayed for God to stop Hitler, but God did nothing and 30 million+ died. Either God is heartless, powerless, both, or does not exist at all.

It depends what you mean by faith and prayer.

We all live with a certain amount of faith including you.

'Prayer' is misunderstood by many (like you). Prayer is a way to rectify the mind. It is not a call for the 'supernatural' to truly intervene.

But something tells me you don't have a clue about anything I'm talking about.

Everyone has faith. Faith is the belief that what you believe is true when it can't be proven. You have faith the sun will rise. Prayer is the name given for converstation to God. It's just a name for a specific type of conversation, like conferance call,

Something you may never understand,I pray to my father who loves me,not for things of this world, something you probably couldn't understand..To have faith I feel takes a bigger person,it has to do with something you can't see but will believe in..It is easy to walk on earth and see things, thats easy because your eyes and hears can see them so not so hard to understand but try to see or hear with your spirit, not as easy as you think..That is what faith is..

Don't be absurd, they are words. Prayer can be either of the things you describe, depending they are done with or without faith. You shouldn't confuse the name with the thing.

I'd say "the cry of the stupid and lazy" -- mumbling into yor hands and pretending a god hears you is not only egotistical, it is silly.

what do I win for getting the answer right?
