i was about 8 i think and my brother 11, and we in my living room, and my parents were gone to work. and and my brother were fighting over my little stuffed collie cassie, he was in a box. were we fighting over it and i was yelling at him and then we both heard a voice. "BOYS!" it said. i'm pretty sure it came from the kitchen, but nobody was there. it was a deep voice, it could have been either from a woman or man. after that me and my brother stopped fighting, were still freaked out by this day. what do you guys think it was?

It might very well have been an angel. It sort of sounds like something they would do: Telling you to stop doing what they perceive to be bad or harmful for you and then after the job is accomplished, get out of there and move on.

I'm not sure about a guardian angel, it sure could have been.
I had an experience one day on the way home from work. It was about 7:30 and getting dark. The weather was VERY windy. On one stretch of the freeway, a gust of wind was so strong, it felt like it was gonna toss my car over the side. I was scared and gripping the steering wheel with all I had, trying to maintain control. It was then, that I heard a voice saying "You're all right, child". No one else was in the car. Like you, it sounded like it could have been male or female, but I truly believe it was God, once again being there when He knows I need Him the most. Of course, I WAS all right and made it home safely. I must of said "thank you, God" at least a thousand times! :-))

No such thing as guardian angels. Really, think about it. If you had one, would their only message be to stop fighting with your brother? Wouldn't you rather they said something about that train heading your way, or maybe that you'll get hit by a car today, better stay home? Don't they have better things they could be doing with their time?

Probably, mine once woke me up by loudly saying my name, I thought it was my mom or sister but no one was there. I knew it was her because she had appeared to me previously in dreams.

I've never heard one speak to me, but it is possible.
Mostly they nudge or direct. stand between you and it OR
do nothing and let your arms get broken.
If you heard one it's rare.
