You should maintain a minimum of 1200 calories, spaced out throughout the day in about 6 mini-meals of 200-300 calories each. Any less than this and your body will go into starvation mode and will hang onto every calorie you consume and store it, thinking that there is a food shortage. You actually have to eat to lose weight, so that your body will think that there is plenty and will therefore allow you to burn more calories. Seems a bit convoluted, but that's how it works. I would stick with a maximum of 60 minutes of exercise daily. Yes, you can probably lose 2-4 lbs a week doing this. 10 lbs is a possibility.

Um. Losing 10 pounds in two weeks is not healthy, and chances are you won't keep it off.
Under 1200 calories is NOT good for your body, because your body thinks it's not getting enough food, so it goes into starvation mode and stores everything rather than burning it (so you don't lose, you gain).
2 pounds a week is a realistic amount of weight to lose. Eat around 1200 calories a day (at least) but go ahead and exercise! Running and jogging is good.
Also, you want to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, it really does help.

weight loss all comes down to calories in vs calories out.. i dont think you realize just how little 1000 calories is. and to be able to have the energy to run for an hour to make it worth your while... . it is also dependant on the amount of food and exercise you currently do. if youdont do any and eat 2000 calories a day i would say your going to lose alot of weight. ifyou only take in 1300 calories and already exercise its not going to give you the results you want.
and why only two weeks? if you want to change how you look you should realize that its a process, its changing your lifestyle, not drasticsally altering your diet for two weeks.

it depends upon your body. it isn't health though. you are only supposed to loose 2-3 pounds a week the healthy way. it is possible though. don't just eat under 1,000 cal.... make sure it is healthy stuff.

Losing 10 lbs in two weeks is pretty hard, no matter what way you chose. It really depends on your own body.
