I just love this part--It is a cartoon movie that will last over one hour. I think it will be great for kids to see one of this world's greatest people in a format they understand.

It IS a cartoon. Perhaps they are making two movies and the one is not a cartoon?

I think he would make an interesting subject for a film, live action or otherwise. It will be one-sided, of course, and paint him as a saint instead of bringing a balanced view of the pontiff's life, but that's not really surprising. Even Sir Richard Attenburough's magnificent film portrait of Gandhi didn't show him beating his wife, though it did hint that he was capable of treating her a bit harshly.

I wonder if they'll stick to the truth or make it all propagandistic. Animation is the best way to feed bad ideas to impressionable children.
