Atkins made my hair fall out but I lost a lot of weight. I still have a lot to go and I dont have time to exercise and I have a family of guys that eat everything so I can't be picky about what I eat..what's next? and no, I dont have money for surgery. lol

I love this website because there are articles for references, a forum to talk to other people, groups to join, exercises to try, etc. I've lost 21 pounds using this site.

What I learned from my own experience is that you need to stop making excuses. You have MAKE time to exercise and you do have to be picky about what you eat. Making time may mean cutting out something else, but if you're serious about it, you do make time for exercise. Also, you don't need to exercise everyday. Get up 45 minutes early 3 days a week and exercise. Fix the guys whatever they want and then you eat a salad or something light. It isn't easy, you have to work at it, but if you're serious about losing weight, you can do it.

STOP EATING SOOOOO MUCH!

Sheesh.

Eat only a fist full of food at each meal. 4 meals a day with 8 cups of low calorie drink (water is no calories...that's good too!) and 3-10 ounce glasses of skim milk. Take multivitamins.

Walk, don't do heavy workouts. Those build muscles bigger which in turn make you more hungry. Walking boosts your metabolism yet doesn't make you anymore hungry than just sitting around the house.

South Beach because you have more options like nuts and beans. If you just want to lose weight more slowly and be able to eat whatever you want then try Weight Watchers. I lost 30 lbs in 2 months with WW and love it because I didn't have to give anything up.

Yes you can still be picky about what you eat. When you go shopping, get what your guys need, and also what you need. Maybe lighten up your diet and a diet pill?
